Elevating Senior Living with Top-Quality Roofing and Weatherproofing

Cianbro and Maine Veterans Homes turned to Industrial Roofing Company when they required roofing and weatherproofing solutions for their Augusta facility. The project encompassed a 138-bed senior living complex, spanning two stories and 179,475 square feet in size. Industrial Roofing Company was entrusted with the task of covering the facility, using 106,100 square feet of shingles, 17,900 square feet of Soffit and Fascia work, and 30,400 square feet of EPDM roofing.

For roofing, a robust .060 EPDM roofing membrane was chosen due to its durability and established performance. Tapered insulation was integrated to enhance drainage, and in select areas, 2’x2’ concrete roof deck pavers with adjustable pedestals were installed, creating open spaces for occupants to enjoy the surroundings. The project also included the installation of CertainTeed Landmark algae-resistant shingles, Englert B4000 Soffit Panels, and a seamless gutter system to ensure weather-proofing and effective water control.
