Creating a Sustainable Home Base at The IRC Shop and Warehouse

Our own shop and warehouse, based in Lewiston, ME, recently completed the construction of a new 10,000-square-foot state-of-the-art warehouse at our corporate headquarters.

As part of our commitment to sustainability, we installed a natural light Daylighting system, incorporating sensors and efficient dimmable T-8 lighting fixtures, leading to significant annual lighting cost savings. Furthermore, a 1,000-square-foot SolarWall® was implemented to harness warm fresh air and distribute solar heat throughout the facility.

Industrial Roofing Company’s ongoing commitment to sustainability encompasses plans for a commercial photovoltaic system and Green Grid® vegetative roof system, complementing established efficiency and recycling programs at our headquarters. This project signifies our dedication to eco-friendly operations.
